Filter power gains?

I installed the under the seat one and really has a difference in air flow and performance....I did it that because was the easiest way to try without going to a dynotune that is not available down hear , since then one noticeable thing is that my ass is being burn as consequence of the air inflow of the new filter.....with the old one didn't t notice this, and really I wrote on another post I go the feeling that vibrations are lowered ...that s my experience.
Your experience goes against what the dynamometer showed, I.E. no difference replacing the stock filter with a K&N. Maybe your filter was clogged?

I can't see the triple pods making much difference alone. I did mine and there was no noticeable difference...

Then I pulled the secondary baffles off, that made throttle response quicker...

Then I put on TOR's, still not a big difference...

New tune, still not a big difference...

Sounds better, lots of intake noise and a beefier exhaust note ;)

Next the cat box is going and a new tune, I am hoping that will make a difference?

Good luck

I bought my bike in the US and send it back down here , It used to have 4000 miles on the count , the filter was clean but never been change before.... , I decided to change it as a regular basic and install a KN one instead ....and really vibrations and soar were lowered , amongh performance it s hard to know that's my sensation ..will start with tune ecu by miself but resourses of filters and parts are limited and expensive , had my ECU cable and past week installed a Gipro with atre too ...its just the beginning ...

Great to hear your views and experiences. Obviously every little pony helps, but can't help thinking that lots of extra dirt will enter the engine.
Would that mean more regular oil changes or is the extra flow of dirt really nothing to worry about?

No I don t mean that , this filter will let more air IN and this would be translated in more power.......dirt will never reach in. I m trying to explain my situation were I receive a bike that was not in my hands since it left the dealer and I m trying to puts things to work as I consider to be ok ...in fact since I made this little change of removing the original filter I felt my bike in better shape and will continue improving in my way to reach up to it s best performance.

Here you go, I think pretty much everything you want to know. Had 3 runs with bike on dyno, first with stock filter, already had Staintunes with collector and secondary's removed, 126.86hp. Second run with 3 tuneboy pods put on, 137.40hp (11hp with just that) and lastly after a tune. Definately recommend triple filters.
