It really took me a long time to find this post and i'm glad I did. My question is the tune used? does the triumph tors use triumphs tune? does each pipe have its own tune and is it also bike specific? I cannot paddle my bike out to you for a custom tune but appreciate your time and experience with the rocket.

Steve the closest guys that know tune boy are either Wayne Tripp in Birmingham Alabama or a tune boy dealer in Minniappolis Minnesota. Otherwise your going to have to dump a canned tune in add PCV and let a local dealer who knows power commander stuff tweak it in.

Thanks for the leads warp, I had a performance cruiser before I blew it up (see avatar) and while I loved the way power came on after 3500 rpm I remember wishing more than a few times for the juice down low so I really think keeping stock cams, heads, and pistons and just maxing my power right where it is will be all I need with this bike.

I like power everywhere especially when it comes to eating sport bikes 3500 is just having power but no go it needs to carry up and thru 8000 to really have a blast. we are in Illinois where the only reason there is a curve is because the farmers could not plant there. Mostly because of the river or ditches that weren't economical to fill in and plant :)

I suck in the twisties (as there are none to practice on) but if there is any room between them, well boost does make a difference :D

Its 100 miles from Peoria to I80 and with 8 towns to slow down for its still only 23 minutes:evil:

sorry boys it is 260mph --> 100mi in 23 mins therefore 200mi in 46mins (23mins x 2) and 60mi (60% of 100mi) in 14mins (as 14mins is roughly 60% of 23mins), so 260mi in the hour therefore to do 100mi in 23mins one must average 260mph :whitstling:

So I am off a wee bit I do not know how fast I run since most of it is in the odometer miles area. it must be the excitment factor kicking in. Plus its only 75 miles not 100. My mistake:)
