OK fellow rocketeers,, for those interested in buying Corbin Beetle Bags and have platform style passanger foot boards, you may want to reconsider! They did not design it for such passanger foot boards but rather for standard passenger foot pegs. The installation will allow the bag to eventually rest onto the pipe, yep i have a $875 bag that has been melting onto the pipe. I called Corbin and they did not show interest in what happened. Here is the install link and pay partic...ular attention to Figure 3.

The factory "foot pegs" allow the bag support to be mounted in "two different locations" The upgrade passenger foot platforms only allow for one bolt which acts as a hinge for the bracket to be pushed down. What i did was add a 1/4" spacer through the mounting bolt between the support bracket and bottom of bag, so far the bag has not relaxed onto the pipe again,, but the damage is done.
Now need to find a reasonably proced good glass man and provide a repair, or learn how to do fiberglass repairs correctly and do it myself.
