Edge Brackets

I ordered a couple of Edge brackets from the "Edge Leather" web site for my Roadster. After receiving confirmation of my order via email I have not heard anything from them. I tried emailing them and calling. My emails go un-answered and their phones are either out of service or sound like a fax machine. I just opened a dispute case with Paypal.
Does anyone know if they have gone out of business?

Last night I sent them more e-mails and copied in the CAO Distributing company that makes the brackets. No response and no joy getting through to them today on the phone either. I escalated my issue with Paypal and hopefully will at least get some refund at least (I hope).
I also searched the Internet and found that they now have an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Thus if anyone out there is considering dealing with Edge or CAO Distributing be warned.

As long as you used your credit card to order don't worry. I know you need to give the company a reasonable amount of time to process the order and deliver. If after a couple weeks you have no luck just file a dispute with your credit card provider and get your money back.
Been there.....done that.

If you look at the posts on Facebook for them they are getting complaints from other customers. Sounds like they are taking peoples money and running now...

Buyer beware if you are looking at Ghost Brakcets, Edge Brackets (Edge Leather) or even their affiliated Better Bike Parts web site they may no longer exist. All their phone numbers are the same.

It seems that they will process your order but not delivery or even respond to you.

I had little joy with their quality. The edge brackets took a lot of adjusting to get a firm fit and the bags didn't rattle around. I ordered the TEK leather XL bags and they soon sagged and I had to make a bracket to support them from underneath. Didn't take very long at all before the stitching at the seams came apart and I never carried a lot of weight. The buckles are more rust coated than chrome - they wouldn't be on my shopping list again.

Kudos to Paypal! The concluded their investigation and as a result refunded my payment in full. I can only assume that Paypal had the same issue getting in touch with Edge or CAO therefore refunded me.
