I'm curious about how this tire is working out for those who went with the F1 on the standard R3. Like a "long term test drive" questionaire .....
How is it performing in the long run?
Have any clearance issues become apparent?
Does anyone even notice that it's a car tire when they glance at it on the bike?
What are you running with it on the front?
Do you like it?

Had a 245 eagle on mine for about a month and i couldn't get the tire to stop rubbing on the swing arm, and i wasn't going to be able to get it inspected with rubber shavings all over the place. Have seen other guys with them not sure what they did about the rubbing. I have a 225 eagle on now it it feels better and fits great. 245 definatly looks way cooler but i still get noticed alot with the 225. When this one wears out in a long time i might try a 235 toyo.

I'm runing a 245 but it's a Riken Raptor and I've had no clearance issues at all. The wife says it a cushier ride than the metz. I still scrape the inner heel of my sketchers on the hard curves. I've abused it for over a year now and no signs of appreciable wear.
You can check out pics in my gallery.
Hope this helps Kelly.

I would be great if I could find some technical specs (measurments) on both in order to compare the difference in the widths. Some tire sites have details like that but never on what I'm looking for. Typical.
I took the plunge and ordered up an Eagle F1 but am waiting to put it on, got to get my money out of the Metz I had to buy just before I took it to Niagara Falls. Funny how the cord started showing DAYS before we were leaving. Again ... Typical.
