Drops out of 2nd on overrun but not under power.

Had a chat at a Triumph dealer yesterday while they had,nt any customers in and he was very helpful, even printing me off a copy off the latest Technical Service Bulletin which details changes made to second gear and dog ring and also a seperate update to first/fourth and fifth gears.
He stopped short of saying it is definitely the root of my problem however.
Basicly the changes are that second gear now has four windows instead of six and the dog ring now has 8 dogs for engagement instead of 6.
If anyone has the know-how I can scan the document and email it so that it can be posted on the forum where everyone can find it.
It also has part numbers for the kits and chassis number ranges they apply to.

My problem may or may not be related but I am going to have to take the box to pieces anyway, and will probably fit the modified parts while I am in there.

According to local dealer here, Triumph completely changed second gear design engagement to remedy a number of problems relating to coming out of engagement. The tech showed me the new style but did not have old one there so that I could see difference.

They had bike for 3 days and completed the "Upgrade", brought it in on Monday and was done on Wednesday, got the bike back clean and now works good , even the fuel guage works like it's supposed to now.
