I'm not a camakazie rider, nor am I trying to say anyone else should be. Everyone should ride at there own comfort level. I just have more fun going 60 mph down a twisty road with my pegs dragging than 130 mph on a long straight one.
I do need to quit trying to keep up with my buddy on his FZ-1. Our bikes are dead even on accel, but he can leave me when the twistys get too tight. Maybe I just need a second bike! That new Tiger sure has caught my eye. My old 98 tiger had so much ground clearance, you could almost lay it almost flat before the pegs touched. [A feat I never managed until I quit running those dreadful dual purpose tires and went with some regular street tires.]
