Don't have to worry about tire wobble , Laid it down

Glad to hear you ok! Had bad wobbles between 60 & 80 kph took roadster to dealer who tightened the triple yoke bearing up, got it back and caned the f**k out of it no more problems.

Glad you're relatively ok, RP. That's a testament to leathers if I've ever heard one--60mph+ and you still have all your skin...Hope the process with getting back on the road is smooth, your break heals quickly, and you get justice if any fault lies with the dealership's work.

Glad to hear you're ok, and congrats on your choice of riding apparel.

Reading over your previous thread you said that the problem was fixed. How many miles have you covered since the 'fix' and did it gradually return or did this just happen at the time of your accident? Was it the same symptom, wobble under deceleration, or was this something different?

As I posted in your earlier thread the only similar issue I've had on my R3T is a slight weave at speeds over 120 and never on deceleration. From everything else I've heard this is not a common problem and your initial problem sounded like a setup error, either by the dealer or the factory.

Good luck on your recovery.

+ 1 What he said.

My 011 R3T has no wobble. Except at real low speeds, 15, 20 MPH. Then sometimes I can get a slight back and forth out of the handle bars. I think it's mostly the road. I've had it to 120 MPH with no wobble or tank slap. I bet your problem was head shake from an improperly torqued steering head bearing.

I Agree ..Does anyone have the Torque settings for the Headstock King Pin tension?

I read somewhere there is a pre load setting test you can do with a cheap spring balance with the front wheel off the ground..

Anybody know??
