Do you really need the 10K service?

Always put a small mark on the old head gasket.. then you know if they've taken the head off to look at the valves.( ie used a new gasket)

Hopefully they will need to remove only the rocker gasket. If the head gasket comes off then they have gone too far.

Will - mine will get done. May also get it's 20K done if it's hit inside 2 years.

2 reasons.

1) Triumph Warranty.
2) Dealer "Warranty".

Thereafter - it will get fettled at home.

the only reason mybike is going next week for the "valve clearance" only I told my dealer I would look after the oil changes myself as he does not stock the brand of oil I want, he does not have a problem with it and won't affect my warranty

They have changed to castrol for rockets now at the dealers.
