2006 Triumph Rocket 3 Classic
Hello all,

I recently purchased a 2006 Classic. The previous owner has installed a Raask 3 into 2 no cat exhaust a Power Commander 3 and it has a stock air filter. I've ridden it the last couple of days and it seems to be running rich. It has a pretty strong fuel odor at idle. I haven't hooked up the laptop to the Power Commander yet to see what tune is installed. I ride at 6000 plus feet. I'm thinking i should just unhook the Power Commander, hook up the O2 sensor and let the stock ECM handle things? I plan on keeping the stock air filter for now. Your recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

First thing I would do is copy what tune is in it amd retain it . Then while the engine is cold I'd run a 12 minute tune especially if its been running at much lower altitudes. And it wouldn't hurt to do a ISCV reset
Since ots a 06 and you just got it we don't know if its got the original primary TPS or not.
