DMV rules suck!!!!


I have never had a title that displayed mileage.
Perhaps this is just the THIRD thing I like better about my state than yours!
 
That's weird. Man, we should have just traded, I bought an 04 CBR 1000RR last year, I'll probably sell this year, especially adding the Blackbird.
 
I know you have to pick your battles, but I would have to take that one all the way to the state supreme court level. You cannot just arbitrarily change the mileage on a vehicle because of it's age. Especially if it's used a verification on a title.

Some states use a minimum value when transferring titles for the purpose of taxation so you can't get away with " oh, i just bought this Lamborghini for $5 dollars" but they still couldn't just pick a mileage out of the clear blue?

Oklahoma is truly messed up!
 
No way is OKLAHOMA messed up. Just ask the county road commissioner who has a 400 foot paved driveway paid for by are tax dollars or a certain senator with a mansion and has paid no land taxes for the last 10 years. Corruption is widespread throughout the state so nothing surprises me.
 
In Virginia, no matter what you paid, 1500 is the minimum you can claim for tax purposes, and the mileage reported MUST be as stated on the odometer, or, if it has rolled over or stopped, the indicated mileage along with a statement that the odometer is not accurate and has reached it's mechanical limit.

Over here if the vehicle is newer than 10 years or less than 100k miles it displays on the title, over 10 and over 100k shows miles over (i thi k)

The title that i got tbe first time in my name only showed tbe correct miles, the seco d one is screwed up, oh well, i will just hurry up and ride the bike to catch up with the title
