Rules of the Road???

UNWRITTEN RULES FOR MOTORCYCLISTS?

Just like any sport or hobby, riding a motorcycle comes with two sets of rules—the written and the unwritten, a recent article suggested these are the unwritten rules.

1). Don’t Ask to Ride Someone Else’s Bike

2). Always Alert Fellow Riders of Hazards

3). Know Rider-to-Rider Communication

4). Wave at Your Fellow Riders

5). See a Rider in Need? Stop

6). Respect the Road and Fellow Motorists

7). Group Riding? Whenever Possible, Stay in Formation

8). Motorcyclists Are Upstanding Members of the Community

And…. The Most Important Rule? Learn as You Go
One of the biggest mistakes young and novice riders tend to make is pushing themselves too far beyond their limits too early.

Are these the only, or are these too many, unwritten rules of the road for motorcyclists?

So what say you ?

When you pass a Cop or speed trap always tap the top of your helmet to let oncoming riders know there's a Cop or speed trap ahead...

G'day Erik!! I seem to remember you also picked up pretty quickly on Rule 21....

The speed limit signs are a RULE for motor cars. For motorcycles, they are a challenge..............
