i received maps for the ECU and the PCV, the PCV map seemed pretty straight forward to upload, i'm not sure about the ECU map,
I connected and had the TUNEECU software read the current map and then i saved it, Then i went to FILE-OPEN and opened the map i was sent from HANSO then i went to ECU- Download - got a warning saying that if i did this i could screw up the bike, the gates of hell would open and I risked becoming a Hell Spawn, sounded cool to me so i did it, the download completed everything seemed to restart, I went back into the TUNEECU software and asked it to read the file and it came up wanting to read the old file? is this normal?, how do i get it read the new file from the ECU

ok i think i might have figured it out, if i'm correct i show map 20368 as being the stock map, but when i uploaded the new map, it retains that name, but actually has the new settings in it, i think i got it right as when i ran the bike the fans came on at 96 degrees instead of 103

IF you change a setting in the current map, and save it, the number will not change. If you want to keep a copy on your computer, keep the number with a modified name, like "20368 with mods.hex" or such. Of course the ECU will still just call it 20368. I don't know who assigns number changes, but if I make my own changes, I always start with a known tune, so I keep that tune's number, and add my personal tweaks.

Yes i found that out too when updating maps, the map number stays same, kinda threw me too. I guessed it changes when Trumpet dealer puts OEM map on as my Roadster had 20355 on which they put on when they fitted TORS.
