Detailing Question(s)

Well from where I come from Pledge is for wood furniture..... not motorcycles, cars, trucks, boats or any other vehicle. I've read the instructions on the can twice and all it states is to be used on wood furniture.

Well from where I come from Pledge is for wood furniture..... not motorcycles, cars, trucks, boats or any other vehicle. I've read the instructions on the can twice and all it states is to be used on wood furniture.
But it works really good.

A eighteen pack and a lot of elbow grease. (Turtle wax)
I thinkIi have every wax and polish sold and always had dozens of bikes to keep shiny and claen and we use Pledge it works best
NEVER have a problem or had a problem painting any of the bikes ever and dont intend on painting my bikes unless I have an accident I have my bikes painted by PROS and they never have a problem or complain about us using Pledge BUT Im open to try any new products that come out so your recommending BIKE SPIRITS tell us about it I have used it before but like PLEDGE better and thats all we use now

DUDE!
1) You are not incorrect when you say that you haven't experienced any problems from the pledge.... I believe you!
2) If you have been smoking for 30 years & someone comes along & tells you: "smoking causes lung cancer" & you tell them: "I've been smoking 30 years and I've never gotten lung cancer!" - That doesn't make you are an expert on whether or not YOU will EVER get cancer............. Does it?????????????????
3) If you go ask your "PROS" if they have ever had a bad experience repainting something that fish eyed out because someone had used a silicone product when "waxing, polishing, detailing" their car/bike & they tell you No, they haven't. They are either lying or they haven't been painting very long & probably would NOT be considered PRO'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, AGAIN, I'm not ever going to argue with you or call you out on anything related to building engine performance, so please give me the same respect when talking about painting.
If you do decide to come back at me with yet more rebuttal, I will not respond so don't waste your breath. Instead go to the doctor & see if they will write you a prescription to help you out with your "little problem"

Oh, you asked me to tell you why I use the Bike Spirits product..... it is what the store had. I was hoping that they meant it literally... that the can is actually full of "the spirits of bikes" . and I really like the Pink can, if I carry it around with me out in public I bet I can use any bathroom of my choosing

Death Arrow 007, now look what you went & started.... There are 2 main things you don't ask about on this forum:
1) What polish do I use to clean/detail my bike
2) Are there ANY other bikes made on this planet that are worthy of even deploying a kick stand next to a Triumph Rocket III
(Just messin with ya)
Now do like Sonny says & go grab that 18 pack!

He started up about the same when I mentioned that I am a welder by trade and thought the welds on the exhaust system were not that good. Started up slamming me and challenge my ability as a welder. I have been TIG welding since 1999. I have over six years welding aluminum and stainless in a FAA repair station. I also work on military contracts such as F-16, and F-18 and the H-1. He was convinced that I could not weld up a motorcycle exhaust better than his buddies could. So it is no surprise. I do not think there is a pill out there that will help him with his little problem.

Got my baby cleaned up again today getting ready for the weekend. It's supposed to rain tonight and on and off earlier in the day tomorrow. Good thing I got my sweet, sweet brand new water/weather resistant cover put on.

Rode the old VTX into work tonight instead. Thing feels like a little toy to me now after riding the R3T for over a week.

To those who must know; yes, I Pledged the Rocket after washing it.
