Custom pipes cost UK ???

UK Guys ( but anyone can answer it just stuff is always seams more expensive in the UK )

I have been looking at replacing my complete exhaust and have been talking to a local firm who look like they know what there doing .
I have asked them to build a stainless steel manifold based on Zard manifold as I like that design
and then replace the rest of the system with two s/s cans and of course mount all this on the bike

they have quoted £650 for the manifold and £ 450 for the rest fitted all in stainless + vat of course (20% for those outside UK) this will take about a week to produce

this sound pretty good to me ..... what do you think ???

If it is their first attempt at a Rocket 3 header I would personally go elsewhere as expertise with the oval twin header outlet for each cylinder has been earnt from experience. i.e. CES and Reband in Australia, Viking Exhausts in NZ and currently just Carpenter USA, but Jardine previously. I would hunt around and look second hand as well.
