Living Legend
Guess I rejoiced too soon ? After a 30 mile round trip I fitted my new relay , started her up and after a time , success ! The fan cut in . It cycled on and off for bout 10 mins and I smugly turned her off . Replaced the side panel and tidied the garage , after an hour or so I ran her again and guess what ? No fan !
Checked fuse all good . Checked relay , all good there , bypassed the fan and that worked too so moved on to checking coolant temperature wires . All seemed good there too so started the engine , no fan but engine management light instead ! I now have a steep learning curve ahead and can avoid tune ecu no more . And so to the questions ,
How do I ensure I am ordering the correct lonelec cable ? Got myself a windows laptop ! And which is the easiest path to removing the sensor ? That little sucker is well tucked away . Have any of you guys found a shortcut ? Wish me luck !![]()
