Cooling fan

Heres the cable: Diagnostic Interface for TuneECU Motorbikes

Thanks for the response Turbo , ok the relay came from main dealer after giving them the vin number , I can post a pic up later but the make and numbers did correspond. It's number 3 under left hand panel , the fitted fuse is 15 amp and the fan ran when connected to a direct supply ! I have ordered the obd2 cable from lonelec but unfortunately is on back order until March 3rd as they are currently out of stock !

Ok the fan fuse on my 2010 roadster is a 7.5A
Checked the data sheets for the fan shows in around 6-7A draw at normal operation

Have you an ammeter or multimeter?

I can post you my cable if you like, speed things up

I really appreciate that offer turbo , on consideration I think I would rather wait the week or so as I hate to borrow . It may be a good idea to take yours and send you back the new one when it arrives but knowing my luck they will send me the wrong one lol as I am a firm believer that no good deed goes unpunished However , I may reconsider if I get too impatient ! Weather here is awful right now which makes it easier to wait . Plus I get to keep watching the instructional video over and over ! It's a big step for this simple fellow . I do have a multimeter but certainly not an expert with it . That's interesting about the fuse , mine is 2010 roadster and the fuse index on the fuse box lid shows a 15 amp !
I have ordered a new sender unit from triumph . I thought at £25 it's worth having as a spare if not needed . Originally I thought on changing it out regardless but in retrospect it's a bit of a monkey to get to !

Oops you are correct my mistake that is a 15A fuse. looked like a 7.5A on my shaky old photo.
Offer is good on the cable, hell i don't even use it much, usually use tuneboy
