We've all been there... heh! Occasionally the side-stand switch will get out of adjustment as well.

Here is @warp9.9 working on mine

High idle that can be sorted out. Since its a 06 jet black with the black engine my bet is with tune ecu and a new Primary TPS installed cleaned a lubricated throttle boddies and proper cable setting she will purrr. Even if for some reason the stepper motor went bad which I doubt thats only 100 bucks. Next time you fire her up and she is in a higher rpm reach down and grab the stepper motor to feel if its buzzing . If so grab the end to the motor shaft and thry to help it close. That way if there is a sticky or dry spot in the linkage you'll feel it. Nice looking bike. Pretty clean so ya know he kept it up.
