Considering a Rocket vs an Indian

Yeahhh HD Top End means... You take then to the Top and they End

Hey Bud, all I can say owning both Indian Chief and Triumph Rocket is once you get off the Rocket you will quoting Darth Vader. Feel the power of the dark side...

some of the Harleys cant break 100 mph when riding a passenger even with those big engines and they will go faster in 5th gear as they dont make enough HP to pull 6th gear all the way to top revs

Every time I change bikes my body has to adjust to the new riding position usually my neck aches, my back, my knees, etc. I'm 165 lbs 5-8 maybe 5-10 in work boots at the start of the day and the R3s I owned was a bit big for me and it was an 06 so the suspension was a bit loose but the power was so addicting, the intake howl with the exhaust note was beautiful music and the confidence of having enough power to escape trouble is noteworthy. When my wife confided the buffeting was to much we checked the Indians out and she wanted the Roadmaster with custom paint $34,000 and with all the acc's you could dream of but it was a big heavy pig and I need some control of what i'm operating scratch Indian. I think the R3r or t are the best value for the money on 2 wheels you're going to find but if you want to try a fun bike that cost $20k and may be even more fun bone stock demo a KTM 1290 SD GT a totally different kind of V twin.

THE Superduke is a hooligan streetfighter my buddy has one I cant ride the thing for long its not comfy and I would buy a ZX-14 its even faster smoother and more comfy BUT I like my Rockets better for the riding we do my buddy had a R3T that he could ride all day but he cant ride the DUKE for more than an hour then he wants to go home and rest I think hes going to get a Roadster

6th gear on a Harley is basically just a overdrive to cut the RPM's. Never intended to be used as a power gear. 6th gear will give a little power if redlined in 5th but not much.

The K1300s has been discontinued by BMW. You can still get one of course, but they no longer make them.

I know, I'm too close to retirement to ever take on a payment again, I'd buy used anyway

You sure about that, power to weight on the superduke looks pretty impressive. And the superduke GT comes out in January.

YEP the DUKE is no match for the ZX14 but its a fast VTWIN if that means anything when the 14 goes flying bye Ive seen the 14 in action I was going to buy one but they are not comfy and I would never ride it I already own sport bikes that I never want to ride I always ride the Rockets they are comfy and more fun
