Center Stand

Has anyone installed or used the center stand and how easy is it to place the bike up on it// Tnaks for your response. Capt. Dan

I have the Rivco centerstand on my 06 Classic and it is useful for me. It was hard to install but I like the convenience. It is easy to lift but if you are a ricky road racer type, it will limit aggressive cornering.

Knowing the roads around Elijay, I'd stay away from the center stand and just buy a Motorcycle Jack. You know as well as I do, that you don't have to be a Rossi wannabe to start dragging parts in these hills that we call home. I'm fairly local BTW, just over the hill in Ringgold, GA, I ride to Ellijay about 3 times a month, just out toodling around.

You're better off to buy a Harbor Freight lift and use a bottle jack to raise the rear tire. The center stand (I looked into one) is expensive and does nothing to help your back out working on the bike. The lift puts the bike where you can comfortably use tools to wreak havoc on your wallet.

I don't have a "Rocket in my pocket", yet, but I'm wondering if my Larin lift will work on a R3T, should I buy one. I used the Larin with an adapter for my Valkyrie Interstate and it's been a great tool to have. Would I need some type of adapter to use it with the R3T?
