On my 2011 Touring when I fitted the TORS I started the bike up with the box in place and no mufflers and it sounded loud and like an old tractor with a cracked manifold absolutely horrible ,I couldn't even tempt myself to give it once around the block to "clear out the cob webs" not much restriction there ,but a bi pass may be on the list to get a bit of a exhaust flow improvement ,has anyone fitted a bi pass and TORS .
Still working on slip-on mufflers and OEM mufflers. I don't have access to a set of TORs yet and don't see the need for expense. Looking a modifying 2 sets of OEMs i recently bought used Touring mufflers and waiting on a set of OEMs off a Roadster which have been donated to the cause by STEEL "the man, the myth, the legend" since he has up graded his exhaust and has no use for the "scrap metal" as he said. So video and photos will be up loaded as progress is made. Will be using the bi-pass cross-over I made on all versions.

G'day Mike does it make any difference to the note ,I am more than satisfied with the performance of the bike since having it de restricted and TORS with K&N in original air box the Dyno read out was a 40 HP increase over standard so that's all I need at my tender age
Thanks mate ,I will get a delete pipe just to get rid of that ugly box under the bike, its one of those tinkering things that eventually gets to me and I have to do.
My '07 Classic sounds "Throatier", but not excessively so, since the cat was removed.
f.w.i.worth, I prefer the sound---big +, is losing 12lb, or so weight.

Cusso I posted a short video of my touring using a replacement crossover on another thread granted I am using aftermarket exhaust but they do have metal baffles unwrapped. Just to give you a sound clip. Hope that helps. What tune did you use for the 40 HP? Still working on retuning my 09 Touring I also have K&N in box. Thanks Again. Hope your enjoying your summer.
Because I have to put up with the neighbor hood kids with their 4 wheelers and dirt biker while i try to sleep on weekends and ALL Sumner long. I run home made strait pipes made from 3.5' Chevy Camaro exhaust tips. Let me tell you that Beast can get LOUD. I've been Told It sounds like a Dragon growling. I will eventually quiet her down, But not untill I have some more FUN.
