Cam Jig Tool - Need?

The torx is a 30 and the hex is a 6. Use a good quality torx bit. I had a Bonneville that a gorilla must have set and I ruined several sockets before freeing those. The Rocket seemed to be torqued properly and the ladder bolts freed up with out much effort.

Paul- no way I'm attempting to make that tool. If I made three I'd have three very time consuming door stops. Coming back to you today kind sir.

I've thought about making one when I needed to do a valve clearance check (probably a long way out at the miles I'm doing a year). I hadn't thought about just making some if people are interested. I did buy some stainless. I'll have to find the sketch again. It would be a piece of cake if I was still teaching machine shop. If I have the stuff I'll give it a shot. You wanna be a test subject? Did you do the regulator mount yet?

The 1/8" thick piece is a brace for the top as mine wanted to flex. None of it needs to be made of stainless, working in the food industry stainless was readily available.

Well I went over and visited the the shop where I have all my tires mounted today.
He's the only guy I'd trust. He was honest with me.
His business thrives because he mainly does tires, which make him much more money that mechanic work.
He charges $100/ hour and recons $600 - $800 for doing my valves, timing chain & plugs.
Just as I started to get the words, "Let's Rock" outta my yap, he cuts me off with, "How's September or October sound?"
Used to do this ALL the time with my race Kaws and Ninjas when I was a youngster in my 40s.
Guess tis once more with feeling for me!

Where is the best place to order that dealio tool?
I gotta get Kong ready for RAA West next month!
