Buy or not a reverted Vmax 1700 Cafe Racer?

Hi Guys,

I'm debating if I should buy or not a Vmax 1700 which were a Yamaha Yard Built 2016.

The Project consisted in transforming a stock Vmax 1700 in a Cafe Racer.

After the competiton, this project was reverted and is sold in stock again. The bike have only 1020 kms. Here in Portugal It's rare to find a Vmax 1700 to buy and when they appear are sold fast. The price is on the target for that year. What do you think? I leave here some photos of it now and a link of the project, and a video (start seeing 3:00)

Yeah I know minimum 9ltr/100km.

My concern is that this bike was a cafe racer before reassembley to stock, and you know the bike was stripe out. See photos below. Would you go for it after see these photos???

Nah, they ALL look bloody awful stock even back to the original.

Loved the conversion - why would they revert it and what would have happened to all that hand made metal work?

Agree 100%! Never liked the look of the stock vmax.
