2500 miles so far, maybe its just me but but it seems my bike lays into the corners quicker! full throttle blasts results in a little more spinning, must be harder compound on the Bridgestone! all in all I like the combo So far! certainly saved some cash!
thanks TX and the rest! ordered the Exedra for the rear and the Michelin Commander 2 for the front, got the rear through JCMotors.com shipped to door 180.00 and the front from local dealer for 134.99 I will give some feedback on how they work!
In anticipation of my first fast approaching tire change, I recently got this Excedra Max rear and Michelin rear from Rock Mountain delivered for $299.
Anxious to see what they feel like; but, won't need to mount them up for a month or two.
Coming back from Hervey Bay, Malcy and I rode through some pretty heavy rain. I asked him if he'd noticed the way the front Bridgy threw water out to the side. He hadn't, but he did say the rear was throwing up a sh1t load. I'll probably go back to an Avon on the front (for reasons I've stated elsewhere) but on the rear the Exedra Max is awesome and easily the best MT option for these bikes IMO.
Well I now have 5000 k on the exedra max and she is still looking good . The thing I am impressed with is the even wear . The Metz would have no guts left by now only meat on the edges but the bridgy is even throughout . I think I might get another 3000 k out of her . And I have given it a fair bit of whippie with the bridgy on so I'm impressed so far . U won't get 10000 out of it though as some have stated unless u ride like an arthritic old woman of course

Lol mine will be dead and buried well before I get to ten mate unless I ride it bald . But she has copped a hiding of late. I couldn't see me getting 10000 unless it was on a trailer lol
I will add to that though I flick my tires when they hit the wear indicators like you are supposed to I don't try to squeeze any extra out . I like to have faith in the rubber.
