Better handlebar clips? I need to look into that, thanks. Mine are a bit overloaded with the extra wiring from the grip heaters, mirror lights and stuff. I'll check that out.
Wow, I looked ... $40,

ouch
They aren't 40 bucks....read on...
If $40 to too steep... try these... unless you're a machinist and can mill your own.
J&P Cycles® Chrome Die-Cast Cable Guides
Lots of differences between JP's and mine....
Yeah those are definately cheaper, but from what I've seen of Flips stuff they probably don't come close to his quality. Have you tried them? My luck they would be made out of chromed plastic or something worse.

I'll just save my pennies and go with flips parts later on. The only thing I remember my father saying to me was "Always buy the best, you'll never be disapointed". Good advice if you have the $ to spend. I usually stick with that advice, primarilly because I save money in the long run by not having to buy something twice.
First off, my clamps are $35 per pair plus shipping. Check the shipping on other vendors. I keep my shipping very low. Some vendors (I won't mention any names) increase their shipping to cover the cost of their items. It makes the items lower priced but the shipping raises the price appreciably. They are 40 bucks, shipping included. Tell me what you can buy today for 40 bucks....not much and probably very little that's made right here where we live and not in some third world hovel by sweatshop labor.
Secondly, my clamps are
machined from solid 6000 aluminum billet, not die cast like JP Cycles. My clamps are precision made and match perfectly. Look at JP's and then look at mine (on the website)(you can click on the picture and it will enlarge so you can readily see the quality). JP's are chromed over die cast pot metal and I'll guarantee the cheap chrome plate will peel in a year or two and then they will white rust. Mine are 6000 corrosion resistant and I offer them in a machined all over or a brushed finish, same price plus, if you have larger bars like Thunderbike 1" diameter bars, I offer the clamps special order with a different bore. I also enclose an American made hex key with every order so you don't have to fiddle in your toolbox finding one....I bet JP don't.
Finally, my clamps are made in the United States of America from American made and procured materials, each clamp is thoroughly inspected for defects (by me) and if it don't pass my inspection (which is), if I would put it on my own bike and be proud of it, I'm proud to sell it. My clamps as well as all my Signature Products come with a lifetime replacement guarantee.....I bet my competitiors don't.
If you want the cheapest, go buy it. You didn't buy a cheap bike so why put junk on it. JP's clamps compared to mine are junk...compare them and you decide... I can say that without prejudice. Just do the comparison.
I didn't get into this to make money and be a fat cat, I got into this racket to make
High Quality, American Made Parts available, because most of the accessories out there are overpriced and under quality. Not all, but the majority. So long as Flipmeisters Specialty Products, LLC carries itself and I have no personal out of pocket expenses, it will continue. If it starts being a liability, well......
All of you have to understand that in order for me to keep offering the products I do, at the prices I advertise, I need your support. If, you buy your accessories and replacement parts elsewhere, I'll cease to exist and then, the only choice will be the offshore stuff or the acessories with the higher shipping charges built it. There are a lot of ways to play the game. I prefer not to play. Those of you that know me know that.
It takes a lot of time and expense to do what I'm doing, remember, I started this
adventure 2 years ago at RAA Nashville with Pianoman's Brakeline Clamps and Raymond Braswell naming the company. What I'm doing is all about this community and the R3. Finally, remember, I ride a Rocket too and I'm proud to display the accessories I make and the companies I represent...on my personal bike. I've come a long way from the original product and I have a long way to go. I'm always working on new offerings as well as representing quality suppliers like K&N, EBC, NGK, EMGO and Blackrock. It take a protracted amount of time and lots of effort and R&D to get from an idea to a marketable part at a competitive price.
Ask yourself, do you ever see any other vendor on site? I don't think so. I'm always available on here, ready to take questions and give comments.

I've never seen JP on here or any other vendor, never. You have a question or concern, I'm available either by message on this site, phone or message on Flipmeisters...and I answer promptly. If you look at my post count, right there is my physical address. I never hide and I always try to be more than just an electronic signature. Points to ponder.
Normally, I don't say anything but I feel it's important to differentiate between what is quality and what's not and why I'm doing what I'm doing.
Enough said.
