I think Barnett is working from the wrong dimensions to begin with, and I also got the wrong lengths at first. In my case, I contact them and protested and proved (comparing to my stock) just how out of whack their cables were. They literally made the short one longer and the long one shorter... and the clutch was off by almost 2 inches. They sent new ones that were far closer to right.
But it seems like they are working from the wrong blueprint and have the wrong data, maybe they're considering normal Rocket non-touring as "stock", I have no idea.
That's why I've been saying that when ordering from them it might be wise to specify an exact, specific length as measured out and then spelling out exactly how long it needs to be. "Stock +3" is meaningless if their idea of "stock" is an inch or two off. I love the quality of the end product, looks great, works perfectly, but it's still a pain in the butt to get something wildly wrong.
I'd protest if I were you and demand they make good.
Bike looks great. I'm not much for taller bars, but if that's your thing it seems you nailed it.
