Well I put the aftermarket radiator on and yes the shrouds don’t line up. I flush riveted some aluminum flat bar to the left side then drilled and tapped new mounting holes. The top shroud lined up directly on top of the mounting ears on the radiator. I had to move that shroud to the right side and tie wrapped it to the ears. It’s not what I wanted but it holds well. The rest of it fit ok and I told the manufacturer the problems I had. They are sending the information the their engineer’s ( probably the waste basket ) so future clients won’t have any problems.
Here is the finished product. I decided not to paint it. Now the only problem I have is the odometer won’t come on. There is some slight corrosion on the pins under the tank so I’ll try cleaning them and applying new dielectric grease as needed. Does anyone know which pin operates the odometer?

Gday, dont think it will be an wiring/plug/pin issue its the LCD panel inside the Speedo, Paul Bryant recently gave me his one that had the same fault. I cut it open to try and fix it but need a new LCD screen and you cannot buy them (the LCD) separately, was hoping they were a generic LCD panel that would be common to a lot of other bikes and it would be a simple trip to the wreckers, but it appears not. I swapped the faulty one with my good one to check wiring plugs etc, same issue, sorry to say.
Having trouble finding a replacement too without paying silly money. I can feel an adaption coming on for this to some sort of aftermarket display
I’m traceing out wires right now. I just found a crushed wire under the kick stand stop on the bottom of the engine. Turns out it goes to the speed sensor. Does anyone know what kind of resistance comes out of those wires you could save me some time.I wish I had another one just to make the trouble shooting easier.
