2023 Triumph R3 GT, 2022 Moto Guzzi V85TT,
I know that there are several types of Bike jacks out there. Here is one I got for the wife's Trike. Found out that it is great for the R3 also . I just went through a extensive set of repairs. This thing did the trick. Kept the bike good and stable. Notice I use a piece of pine as a cushion for the oil pan.
I got it on Ebay about 3 years ago for about $60 . Only weak point I found is the ratchet handle. I use a 1/2 inch ratchey with a 22mm socket .

Micksan,
I've got some "L" shaped brackets to fit in the holes
(centerstand holes) to replace that piece of wood you're using.
They keep the weight off the pan,
if you're interested, I'd sell ya a set,
or take a test ride over here
and look at them if you want to make your own set.
