I live in Harley country and fear no HD. However, should some local opt for an Orca motor, the local food chain will be significantly different.

I may be speaking from a little ignorance here, but I don't think the "Orca" will be much of a big deal or if it is it will be only for a short time on whatever HD it is put on.

Harley has enough problems with the current "big" engine generating a lot of heat as it is due to Harley playing with the emissions standards to meet EPA requirements. Upgrading to the "Orca" class should shorten it's life a lot sooner as this air cooled engine just isn't going to take too much more "improvement".

At least that is how I see it.

In truth I don't think there are any HD parts in the Orca motor built by RB Racing. The cylinders are an inch taller, and it won't fit in a standard HD frame. I think RB guarantees the 600HP version for one 6 mile Bonneville pass...

------S&S 107 with blower still couldnt catch the Rocket and shook the elements out of all the light bulbs. So Iam betten the Orkas shake more, yes you can ballance V twins at certain RPMs but not all..Jack
