Battery Minder quality

I never even started the snowblower last year. We had some cold snaps but they were short and sweet. The Odyssey is charging as we speak.

Yes, only ran my blower twice last year. Once to to open the season, and once for 6 inches.
The first year we moved into the current house, about 15 years ago, we got a heavy snow mid October, and there was snow on the driveway until late March. I had no blower at that time, and spent nearly $600 on a hired snow plow. Got my 10hp blower the next summer.
You never know.
We had 2 inches overnight. Light fluffy stuff. Forecast calls for nothing above freezing for the next 10 days.

I'll let the Rocket sit about 4 days, no charger, no start, see how it does.

Charged both my batteries last night. The Odyssey hasn't been reinstalled yet so I'm going with the Stock battery for now. Was going to ride today but the threat of flurries and sub-freezing temps made me hold off. Looks like tomorrow will be sunny and mid-30s, so I'll ride tomorrow and hopefully Thursday. Glad I got the Odyssey charger as it was down to one bar when I hooked it up. It clearly was never fully charged when I bought it.

Wow, I never saw only one bar on my Odyssey charger, that baby must have been **** near dead. I sold my PC625 and charger over the weekend, couldn't figure out any to make it work with the Corbin seat.

But, since in the midst of the winter from hell we're expecting a high of 72 this afternoon, I think I'll get by with the Yuasa for a bit longer. But, I fear it will drop into the high 60's by the weekend. Thank God for heated grips.....

**** those 60's! Might see those in Pennsylvania and maybe 3 months!

Darn! Couldn't ride today due to a dusting of snow this morning. The roads were covered just enough to be dangerous. Maybe tomorrow!

Hey Bick and B-here ... did you guys use the odyssey chargers yet? I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered, I'm curious to know if it made a difference with the cold weather over the tender Jr.
Mine wouldn't start again today below freezing even though the Jr. had a green "charged" light on. I hope the new odyssey charger comes in soon.

The charger came in today ... it's the wrong one!
They sent me a really nice charger, too bad it's a permanently mounted marine unit.
I called to ask what the deal was and they said they were out of the one I ordered so they substituted another. It's going back, it has no way to unplug it from the battery so it would have to be bolted to the bike ... DUMB! I thought about cutting the wires and soldering in a plug but it has a tag on the wires that says "do not cut wires, charging will be compromised". I reordered one from another company so now I have to wait another week.

Since my Battery Tender Jr. and Odyssey charger arrived at the same time and I had reinstalled the Stock battery, I just charged them both. Now I have the stock battery still in the bike and fully charged so I decided to take it to work today to check it out. It was about 25 this morning. The garage is probably about 45, so there's really no test until this afternoon. I will be putting the Odyssey back in over the weekend, so I should know more then. I can't believe they sent you the wrong charger (and not even by mistake!). Here is where I ordered mine from. It was fast and they sent me the one I ordered. www.BatteryWeb.com
