Just fitted the Utopia drivers back rest. Quick 5 min job to fit.
Ordered it Just prior to Xmas and was given a post out date of the 9th of Jan.
I was notified it had been posted on the 5th and received it this morning 5 days from the US.
Bit expensive due to the postage and exchange rates at the moment but the lower back appreciates it.
Build quality is excellent.
Did have to search through my tools to find a 5/16 inch spanner.

Al, does the Utopia require cutting into the seat of the R3T?
I had one on my Nomad, and I had to cut thru the passenger seat for the installation. I really don't want to do that again.
Thanks, Eric

Now AU$117 @0.73 and AU$401 all up after exchange fees is still a good price as 2nd hand the OEM version of seat and backrest starts at $400 if you can find one when they occasionally show up on eBay etc.

(two piece seat, see installed on rear seat below)
Triumph Rocket III(Standard and Roadster)
(Simple bolt on. Bolts onto stock bracket. No special installation like the Classic below.)
Note: Gel seat, black with gray sides has same setup except we use a different black to match closely to the black on your seat. Can not match the gray, so, we make all black.
The other US$225 version is for Classic, Classic Tour and Touring versions with the combined rider/pillion seats that will need a bracket and post version inserted.
Custom install bar. Not a simple bolt on like Std/Roadster. Installs inside rear seat. See installation click link below. Click here to see "Bar Installation!"for Rocket III Classic
The OEM seats for Classic/Tour/Touring came both with and without the riders backrest. The seats for riders backrest have the square post hole in them and are still available at discounted prices from Oz and UK stores but the riders backrests to fit are no longer available.
