G'day Sparkles;

That's the plan if we can organise a joint arrival time, but as I would like to see as many riders as possible from as many places as possible it may not happen that way.

One thing that will happen is a group ride for all bikes attending, Rockets leading, followed by others as all bike riders would be made welcome.

January is when every thing we start being put together and posted on a regular basis.

Well I have finalized time off for September, I hope there will be a few other going up there the Poll indicated clearly that the majority were in favor and I thought it is a great time of year not to mention if we can get enough rockets up there for the Wedding of Mr and Mrs Big Big Marty then I will go down and spend a couple of days in Bundy with some relo's back to work for a week or so and of to the island ALSO AT THIS POINT OF TIME I HAVE A FREE TICKET(including camping) UP FOR GRABS TO THE WORLD SBK AT PHILLIP ISLAND END OF FEBRUARY

how many days to ride there from perth?
About 5,000 klms , would depend on how many klms you can do a day . After day 2 it's easy to put in 1,000k's a day , once you're in travel mode ( and your arse has stopped hurting) by day 4 i don't want to stop , i just want to keep riding ... or maybe i'm just a road junkie :rolleyes:

2 days if you don't stop!

All depends on how many Ks you're comfortable doing a day I'd reckon.
It's about 4700 Ks each way for ya but I'd be pretty sure you'll have a bit of company collecting with you for the ride as you do.

Pretty sure there was at least one from S.A. that ticked the box of anticipation.
I'd pick up with you guys somewhere along the Newell if the timing worked too.

If it was me I'd be putting in 2 big ones and making it to Port Augusta (at 2400 Ks that's a feat in itself) then take the rest as 3 smaller, easier days, but even then you'd have to be doing 800 a day.

Gaurantee it that you'll get the longest travelled award tho.
