Here is what I will be doing:

- Installing the Garmin XT2 and tapping into the right circuit so it runs only when the bike is on. I need help figuring out best place to tap into.
- Taking the seat to a custom place to add a diamond stitched gel seat cover. Luimoto | Motorcycle Seat Covers | Comfort Gel | Tank Grips and More. They are in Vancouver and I am there almost weekly for work so it should be easy to take it in person.
- adding some carbon .. specifically the radiator shroud and all the fluid covers.
- Maybe get the panniers if the forest fire smoke does not come back and I can actually do a long trip here in western Canada
- Getting the bike venture shielded now as we speak.

Would love to hear what everyone else is up to

Happy new year!

I just received my mid mount foot peg kit and my Nitron rear shock is on the way. I'll probably add in some wiring for my Garmin Zumo XT as I'm currently just using a USB adaptor plugged into the accessory port.

Please. Please. Please let me know what you think of the shocks. Was thinking about ordering them as well.

Which Nitron shock did you order? Their website doesn't list our generation Rockets.

Yep... i'm very interested to find out more about improving the rear end springing & damping over bumpy road surfaces..... So please do keep us all in the loop!

My projects are:
- Strengthening/stiffening the front mudguard so I can add a decent fender extender without it slapping all over the place as the tyre runs over bumps.
- Making up a trad style fuel tank rack. Similar to the old Meriden Triumphs of the sixties.

If there's time there are a couple more things i'd like to do. If not, then next winter:

- Develop a fold down feet forward foot rest, solution for long highway cruising. I have mid controls and like it that way, but it would be nice to stretch out every now and again.
- Develop a rear paddock stand, to securely fit the swing arm/bevel box.

I have only two things I want to sort on the bike: fit the Denali horn upgrade and decide whether to do the Meerkat mod or not as I am still not a huge fan of any of the aftermarket exhaust options. The bike's looking great with all the carbon bits and I'm pretty happy with it as it is - one of the reasons why I haven't done much more to it.

I've done the horn upgrade. I'm pleased with it. I used a FIAM unit. Pretty much the same set up.

Who do you recommend for Carbon? Post some pictures of your bike whenever you get a chance !

I found it on the UK site. There are various options that need to be selected before ordering.
I'm wondering if when they ask for rider's weight, they add a weight value to cover the weight of leathers etc... or if you need to climb on the scales with all the riding gear on, to get the required weight value. I'm guessing it's the latter.
