apes on an abs

Has anyone put apes on an abs equipped model?? Would love some insight

Unless I misunderstand you, apes are tall handlebars.
Other than requiring longer cables and brake line, they have no affect on ABS.

Toddyboy, if i was you i'd be inclined to try rocket iii classic bars (and brake cables etc) than apes, or simple risers, or both.

I as well and coupled with my very tall torso, proper handlebar fit is ALWAYS a problem!
I found these guys that will make a set to your own rise and pullback measurements.
Something to do this winter after the other things planned.

BTW - I LOVE the 18" Apes on my V2K cruiser. Have elected not to do apes on the R3R because it handles so much better, I wish not to deprecate handling.
There are some who have Aped their Rockets around here . . .

Me as well, 14" pullback - 10" rise and 34" to 35" width.
Very hard to find this combo in 1".
