Anybody got a tape measure?

..but if I'm not mistaken (and I usually am), you'll still need some type of those pintles or pins like I posted in the link to put in the frame bracket holes or center stand lugs or whatever ya call 'em..here's an old thread where skip had some made for some us....

well, i have a road king... yeah, a ROAD KING. and it fits fine. i just thought to myself, do i have to break the news to him that his little harley aint as big as the rocket? :tumble: lol

There is not much difference in weight. I weighed my R3 on a weighbridge and got 360kg(with a 1/3 of a tank,my mate reckons his RoadKing is 350kg.

Here is what I use. They are around $180.00 . The second picture is the adapter I made to pick up under the swing arm cross bar. I can supply dimensions if interested.

I'm at work now. When I get home I'll take pics and measurements. It works good. Very stable. The only thing I would call a problem is the jack is a little to tall to get under the bike. What I do is place a short piece of 2 by 4 in front of both wheels and the standard. Run it up on the boards then it's plenty easy to get the jack under it.

OK here is the jack, bought mine on Craigs list for $50.00 !

Here is the adapter I made

Various angles of the two together The adapter is 7 1/8" tall. The top piece of the adapter that goes under the swing arm is 2" wide and 3" across. The side without the adapter lifts the flat area on the bottom of the engine. You have to get that far back to lift the whole bike.

Aha - ALL is now clear. I shall have "speaks" with my neighbour tomorrow.

Thanks Fred.

My lift btw is identical to this one

Found one here in Spain on offer. Now why on earth did it interest me?
