The way this country is going at the moment is a disgrace. I was brought up to respect other people and especially our elderly. Where the f+<k have those days gone. The young generation have lost all knowledge of what being Australian is, and what our values are/were, we have a huge migrant population these days that we should be setting examples for, but they are also getting the wrong message. I see this every day and the reality is it’s our generations fault.

So when I see or hear something that appears to me to “not” be holding up the values we should be fighting for, I’ll speak up.
I’m not perfect, and I am not a pro fighter. But I will admit I am wrong if I get pulled up for being out of line, and I will stand up for what I believe regardless of consequences.

Hey Gearbox I cannot agree with your comment about 'the young generation", it's not appropriate to tar everyone with the same brush. My son is an airline pilot and my daughter is a doctor and they are both respectful to all others, as I am. Being my age 57, I do not take responsibility for the shortcomings of the "younger generation" as you put it. There are many great young people out there and the drongo element are few.

Is the daily, huge media exposure in everyones face perhaps exposing more delinquency that has always been there?

Just remember to pronounce it properly. The ook is the same as hook, look or book. I've heard some from the top half of the globe pronounce it like it has some extra o's in it or a u or something.
