The assumption that by buying the same model motorcycle somehow puts us all on the "same page" .. in anything other than owning the same bike is ridiculous when you think about it. Cockheads and loudmouths are just that .. no matter what bike they own at the present time.

I totally agree ,Esprit De Corps is not relevant as far as owning the same type/brand of motor cycle, you don't instantly become a good bloke by buying a Rocket 3,simularly you don't turn into a Wanker, wannabe if you buy or Ride a Harley , yes it happens,I have Mates who ride all sorts of bikes Harleys included and I regard them as Mates because who they are not because of their choice of ride or wether they ride at all ,

I reckon you be a philosopher, M8!

I was wondering what ran the comment count up so much on this one?!
I like the headers, not the can. But that's why it's on his bike and not mine ;)

Ive been thinking of a new muffler when I fit up a header system soon and sort of had in mind one of those mufflers, looks exactly like the type that was on my old Speed Triple and I loved the sound it made.

However looking at that one I've sort of gone off the idea as it looks to hang too low with not much ability to lift it due to the passenger pegs and moving it back would look silly. My passenger rests are also moved forward and down to make my better half's rare excursions more comfortable too.

Its on the same color graphite as mine too, back to drawing board I guess...

I like the headers and the pipe. I wonder if one was to decrease the two bends after the collector and level out the can if that would increase the ground clearance much, maybe an inch. I'm not sure if any other cleanance issue would come about though. I also think that any pillion rider would need to be careful since it looks easy to melt their shoe soles if they do not keep their feet flat on the peg.

I was a wanker but i bought a rocket and now im better , but not one of those old man bikes like Kens :D:whitstling:
