I've got a Kuryakan (or whatever that aftermarket line is called) laydown number plate bracket on my bike. Modified a Rivco bracket (removed bracket for the plate) just kept indicators .. see pic at ' Best Mod' search .. maybe food for thought as they say mate.

Plate looks awesome, particularly with the bag slid down over it. How did you mount it? To the seat frame, a rack, or directly into fender? Looks like it might fit the pizza box.
I know this question may beg for sarcasm, but did you run a plate light too :p
I'm thinking I may simply build something for each side of the rear (one for the plate and one to hold the **** vignettes) then a simple bracket to keep the stock size indicators but move them right up to the bottom of the tin.:cool:
