and so it begins.....

when the (with the ignition on) TuneECU software connect to the ECM and you have the green light in the righthand bottom corner you should have green in the TPS box, but remember this will only come on after the software in the laptop via the cable has connected succsessfully to the bikes ECM
Well,,,,, I did not have the green TPS light so I did some reading and found some good help on the subject.
TuneECU TPS and ISC Stepper Adjustment
and
TuneECU - Install/Adjust new Pri TPS

I was not getting the bike up to temp. Once I allowed to bike to do the 12min tune the TPS was adapted and the light came on. It says in the one post that sometimes it takes more then one(1) adaption to set things.
SO... all seems right with the world....

The map I am using started off as BruceD's and then dtgiese used it as a base and Wayne tweaked it for him. Comparing the 2 there are changes in the ignition and air/fuel settings, the rest of the tables match up.

So Hans you would not want Richard helping with your headjob? :p

Opps Sorry Mate ... with the Skippy tring to take me out and a very tiring scedule with all the drinking and all I had to put up with I completely forgot sorry Boss hey have you got the Auto Tune then cos these AFR tables won't be anygood to you with out it and you can continue using the Tors tune as your Base TuneECU :)

No not yet not sure if i will yet to be honest the bike runs just how i want it now anyway with the custom map never pops on decel or anything so i might just leave her as is . no point fixing something that isnt broke:cool:

would you mind sending that Map to me, just interested to see what it's got in the tables, The auto tune does quite abit of trimng on my current base map

I am noticing that the auto is doing quite a bit of trimming on the map... there are few positive numbers must mostly negatives being shown by the Auto Tune. Guess I would rather be a little rich then a little lean.

I still can not believe this is the same bike. I without question have to learn to ride this thing again. If I am in second or third gear I had better be up straight if I am going to
be heavy handed with the throttle, because this back tire just breaks free. I pulled out to pass a car and could feel the back end doing the hoochy koochy when I accelerated..

Ha Ha I just relised what's going on here I forgot for a moment that you have a Touring with the skinny arse tyre on the back no wonder you are getting so much wheel spin and the rear trying to break free...you now have the same power or should I say the amount of power it should have had in the first and then with the Jars that given even more

Thanks Hanso ;)
if/when i get Auto tune will that table be used in conjunction with my base map i have now in the Ecu ?
Yup you can use any map you like, the PCV + AT only adjusts fuel it will still follow all the rest of the map it will work with any map but must be used with the Auto Tune so it can create the Auto Tune trim table and adjust the fueling on the Base map to get the bike to run at the AFR's in the (my) PCV AFR table. After you have done some K's they recomend a 100 or more you can then accept the Auto Tune Trims which then puts them in as the PCV trims and the Auto Tune trim table resets to 0's so you can then let it do do it all over again but this time the Auto tune does not have to make as big a adjustments so you have an even more efficent running bike

Oh i see hmmm i better get me one of these devices then :D
when i have some spare coin ofcoarse
I may even take her down to another dyno place i have heard about after the auto tune has had plenty of time to adjust and just get a comparison print out
wonder if i can pinch a few more ponnies and or torque figures with this map and auto tune :)
