Supercharged
I have K&N tripple filters on the bike now. I'm debaitng cutting the claw and also putting the K&N outer wraps on. Do either of these change the airflow enough that I need to worry about it?

From what I understand, no scientific evidence either way. But there are much smarter folk than me around who will chime in I'm sure. As for me, you can tell, I let 'em breathe

I have the outerwears prefilters on mine.
keeps the K&Ns clean and no difference in performance at all.

I reckon both make a very small difference. Cutting the bear claw really did seem to make it run a little better, probably not so much because of the air flow but because of the air temp. The pre filters probably don't add any restriction at all but I felt they did a teeny bit at high revs. I used them anyway.
I also moved the overflow bottle so it wasn't sitting directly in front of the filters. Mine's under my seat now.
