I don't know. Its just an idea of maybe meeting points . just threw it out there. If you look up motorcycle routes to hit all the states it brings up several different maps

That is a great Idea Stripes. I am the president of the local RAT club and we and our dealer would jump all over that.

Just a thought ... maybe we should plan this for next summer and call it RRAA XI (Rolling Rockets Across America 11) It would most likely be a 2 to 4 week event to complete. No more than 1 to 3 days at each location with 1 main event at each dealer and others independently.

I have enough room at my place for tent campers in the back yard. We had a funeral here last year and about 100 showed up. Plenty of room.

beautiful back yard!

Just throwing this out there but what if we did this at 3 or 4 spots at the same time yes not everyone one would be on the ride but make it so that everyone could ride at the same time I'm up for it no matter what as next year I was planning on hitting every state except Hawaii so I'm up for what ever I planned on 60 to 70 days of riding to get it all done and enjoy it some what

Let's talk about the charity thing for a minute...how about we hook up with regional charities. I support an organization here called Texas Sentinels that do great things for wounded vets (build them houses, find them jobs, etc) and I'm sure that there are organizations just as worthy in your home town. If we hook up with local dealers to raise money and hook up with local charities to handle the donations all we have to do is ride . Or am I missing something? After all, established charities are already used to the whole fundraising thing so they could probably help us out with some organizational skills

there is no dealer on that route except las vegas, if still planning on a fund raiser, looks like 1olbull got it sorted plotted and mapped so I will hand it off to him, again my assistance is offered to any one in my neck of the woods as I have been up and down most of these roads a dozen times

Your input IS much valued, so keep talking, Amigo!
Like you, I have ridden all these roads many times over the past 40 years.
My suggestions are just that and always open for comment and change.

If you didn't have an Iron Butt before you would have one by the end of it :rolleyes:

My cross country ride looked to be shorter than tis one and it was 11,500 and 6 weeks. Rode all except 4 days and averaged 300 miles per day.
