Before I painted then with a spray can as a flat black people still thought they look good lol.
I bought a cheap paint spray bottle and put a gloss black it looks so much better, still not perfect. Most likely because I,m not a painter lol
I'm thinking of getting them painted profetional but still debating if I'm going to paint them orange with Black Tribal or just keep them black? Or change my paint job all to gether black with a silver strip? Like a mustang corbra look.
I even did stainless steel brackets, what a ***** to cut
The only thing that is stoping from getting it professional painted is that there all wood and fiberglasse except the bottom belly pan that's all aluminum.
Seems not right spending the money on a profetional paint job painting somthing that is wood and fiberglasse :)
I'm thinking of making a new trunk that blends into the bike over the winter.:)

So Budman, all these parts I made would you pay some one to perfesionaly paint them black knowing there wood and fiberglasse ? Or paint them orange with black tribal? Or would you do the silver with black stripe? Or just find some one to copy them in all fiberglasse or metal?
And if so what paint job?
I have extra fenders that I purchases with my bike and I had the front fender extended so it wraps more around the front tire so stones will not hit the spoiler ones I get a nice pain job, but it's silver in colour.
So if I keep it orange with Black Tribal then I could get the fender painted and put on this winter, but I can't decide what colour to go with, any thoughts?

I made the belly pan out of aluminum finally pulled that off, put to pull off my radiator cover or my spoiler I don't think I'll ever be good enough:( and to make then all out of fiberglasse just not good enough in doing them in fibreglass and the wife hates the smell.
I had a guy that he said he can do my spoiler out of aluminum but he wants $1500 TO $2,000 to do my spoiler and doesn't include paint.

I think they look fine and certainly different to stock, nothing wrong with wood and fiberglass if it has a smooth finish. It is not like they are load bearing and no-one knows unless you tell them. I probably would not fit a belly pan like yours as it must reduce rollover clearance for gutters, big road humps and ramps etc and would need to be removed for workshop stand and scissor jack use etc.

If you went with tribal orange on all those pieces it may be overkill and you wouldn't know for sure until it was done at big expense. also difficult to decide placement and size/design of tribal bits.

As far as clearance my belly pan and spoiler meets bottom of engine , I designed it just to cover the side of engine . I have gone over curbs and never hit my spoiler or belly pan , I think I designed it even the best rider couldn't lean it enough to scrape :) and to lift it as long as the lift goes under the engine I don't think you would need to take belty pan or spoiler off. And if so just 4 bolts.
Yea your right they don't look like wood and fiberglasse, but I think all the pieces I made is black and my trunk is black to me it just looks like add ones that I just added to my bike, perhaps if there was some orange on it then it might look more part of the bike?
That's why I'm thinking of painting it shiver and black then everything can be painted and all the parts painted and flow together? And I was thinking that as well with the oranger just might be too much orange,
is there any software out there that I can play around with that with show me what it would look like?

Is there anyone that has a Rocket that they painted silver with the black stripes down the front fender and tank and back fender? So I can see what it looks like on the Rocket.
