I wanted to do a follow up on Bob's bracket that I bought from him a couple months ago. I originally posted this in another thread but I wanted to do this write-up on its own and then I will link this on the other thread because I think Bob deserves this.
I'm not going to whine and cry about how it started off. The bracket didn't quite fit and a couple of other things (read the original post if you want to know that). Anyways, Bob contacted me and told me he wanted to make this right and that there were two different bracket designs depending on the year of the Rocket and he was having the second design manufactured. Long story short but Bob sent me the new one before I even sent the old one back to him. I just put it on and the thing fits like a glove! I am VERY happy not only with this product but also the willingness of Bob to set this right for me.
Just for my own background but I am recently retired military and now I am manager of the safety & compliance department of a fuels transport carrier in KC, MO. It is a family owned business and I know the value of customer service of a VERY competitive industry and Bob exemplifies how customer service should be. I was pretty blunt and direct on my displeasure on the other post and now its time for me to put my arse where my mouth was and do this write-up...Bob deserves that.
So bottom line...not everything in life goes as planned as we all know. But you can be assured that if something should happen with JackBeQuick on your order then there is another person on that side that will do everything in his power to make it right for you and at the end of the day you can't ask for more than that! Thank you Bob and I still wish you success in your business! It really is a very clever design, a great product AND great customer support.
Here are some photos of my bracket as proof:
This photo has no mechanical value: just me showing off my Rocket in the GREAT Show-Me State!
And for the record...the Chiefs are bringing home the Lombardi Trophy this year and there will be a melt down in KCMO!!!!
Oh yeah...Bob also sent me a 17mm Snap-on wrench with the new bracket to help with the installation. Just letting you know Bob that I was tempted but I am putting that wrench back in the mail and getting it back to you!
