Just to keep keep this forum on the cutting edge, there are 8000 and 9000 RPM versions of TuneBoy available for the R3. The resolution is simply changed so that the tables are "stretched" to accommodate the higher RPM limit. This means that if you paste in your old 7000 RPM tables, the tune needs re-tuning. However, it does give you a way to correctly tune above 7000 RPM... not possible with standard TuneBoy or PC3.

My thanks to Art (IMFASTTOO) for telling me about this, and Wayne at TuneBoy for sending it . I only needed the 8000 RPM version, but Art boldly goes where no man has gone before... 9000!

we also have a version for the pc3 and we have made 42 dyno pulls over 8000 rpm and the hp keeps climbing:confused:

Where did you get the higher RPM program for R3 PC3... from DynoJet?

I'd love to see your torque chart.

Wait.. Just a question, but how can the PC-III affect the RPM limit? All it does is add or subtract values to the fuel map stored in the bike's computer. There's nothing that affects the rev limiter, or is this in conjunction with Tuneboy being used to raise the rev limit?

No, this is in conjunction with tuning the R3 above the 6750 RPM "box" in the standard PC3, not rev limit. How to tune for 7000-7500 using PC3 if those RPMs are beyond the "box" shown on computer?

It turns out it's a simple matter of resetting the Environmental Options in the PC3:

Tools>Env Ops>Reset>OK>Env Ops> Get Map

Should bring up a new 20,000 RPM blank map. You then paste your old map numbers in, adding some figures for RPM range you want saved. Then save that and resulting map will have RPM range you want. (Remember to save old map before you begin!)
