Some of you guys go looking for trouble:eek: I change my battery every 3-3.5 years regardless, now Fred(rocket scientist) for Christ sake he has had the same battery for about eight years and knowing Fred he will have it for another eight:p

Well there . . . as we all know, Fred is Fred! :p
Fred walks the wild side and wins! :D
Not to be emulated for the average at heart. :inlove

I've learned that about every 3 years it's good to change the battery. I have found that after that the performance goes down hill. The bike will crank but it just lags when cranking and so forth.

I only noticed a very slight lagging within the last few months, I got 5+ solid years out of it, I'm happy. And I hope Bull's experience was an anomaly, I was impressed by this test, and 2 other bikes I have with Motobatts can sit for months, and the tender, when put on, goes green in 20 minutes or less, usually, as opposed to hours for the rest of my bikes.
