DREMEL-cut, acid bath de-chromed. powder coated phantom black. That is black with flakes in it. Really, really well done by a powder coater here in Sweden.

There is a paint product that was used on my chrome pillion struts that was directly sprayed on to the chrome,(no need to remove or scratch chrome) allowing a two pack paint to be sprayed over it.Its good because you still have the protective chrome underneath.Its wearing pretty well too!

Yep I agree, like the no chrome look. Just replaced the R3 with the R3R, less chrome, great. I heard of some bloke in Perth that will ceramic coat your pipes, going to give him a call and find out what the go is with that. Is it a big deal to de-chrome ??
