Just last weekend I took my wife request and went for a ride in Miami area... now I feel the heat when stuck in traffic and all that.... 2mm washers? Will do.... never felt anything when spirited riding in nc or the highways... but construction traffic and just plain traffic... what i was thinking....

Will these cause a problem with heat dispersion?

What about performance? higher temp around this area (three headers) may affect the O2 sensor and change timing - making the rocket feel less agile and sluggish.
The performance comes at the cost of free air flow about the headers... It was tested and designed by the manufacturer that way!
Restricting the air flow may retard performance.. I'm no expert just a fan of this awesome motorcycle.

I don’t know how the stock ECU tune would handle it. I kicked their nanny BS tune to the curb years ago. I went with the Paul Bryant/Viking headers/exhaust system with a Woolich racing tune/Dyno’d. 182.03hp and 152.39tq at the rear wheel. I am in the upper 10’s on a 1/4 mile drag-strip. I am a large person at 6‘3“ and 230 pounds. And a drag-strip rookie. I would love to see what a 150 pound experienced racer could do with my bike.
