After having an actual working custom tune using a PCIII for a few months I've come to the conclusion that I both like it and hate it at the same time. The like part is there is a noticable uptick in upper RPM power(above 3,500), but the hate part is that my lower RPM torque seems less than it was stock. If you have followed my posts you know what my woes were getting to this point. I somehow expected more in all this with no bearclaw, tall tripples, TORS, CAT delete, and a custom tune with a PCIII. I'm wondering now if it wouldn't serve me better to return to a 100% stock R3. In the end I'm thinking my real problem other than the fact I'm clueless with the R3's electronics is I'm suffering from the fact that there is no shop within a 100 miles that specializes in tuning R3's, or a R3 owner that is close to me that has all this eclectronic wizardry figured out.

Before you go back to stock I have a tune you could try. It was developed by Blastedbones (spends most of his time on the other site). It's for tors, cat delete and triple K&N's. I didn't notice any loss in low end, but did notice a big boost above 3500. From walking speed, if I can it, it will immediately stand on the rear wheel. The Bridgestone Excedra Max hooks real well. When I had the Metzler it would smoke the tire (I kinda miss that, my Harley buddies were impressed). PM your email address and I'll send it to ya.

P.S. You would have to remove the PCIII. Also, do you have Tuneboy ? If not, Tune ECU ?
