Glad your happy now, never troublesome to ask for help. As far as I know that rectangular hole is just for drainage of rain water that gets under that plastic cover

OK, sorry to be a pain. Took the Rocket down to the dealer, to pick up my license tag, (48 miles). When I got there, there was a few more streaks of oil on the wheel. Got the tech to look at it. He gave it a sniff, and said "you got a final drive leak". They pulled up my info on the puter, ordered a new unit under warranty. Said it might be here next week. OK to drive for now, just keeping an eye on it. Dealer will call when part comes in, I go down, they switch it out, I a happy boy!

UPDATE, dealer called today (5/1) final drive came in! Scheduled replacement next Tuesday.

OK, got to my dealer this morning, (Fort Myers Triumph) and they switched out my final drive, and I was gone before lunch. Warranty, NO CHARGE! I be a happy Rocket pilot!
