Well i bought this rocket three at 22kmiles back in July and the guy before had a power comander 5 and autotune on the bike he also removed the secondary throttle plates. It has the ToR exhaust. Well the first problem it ran into was sputtering and backfiring badly on the highway randomly. I read on here that the PC5 most likely needed a firmware update. This did eliminate that issue for a long time. Well i have used the auto tune and used different maps with no issues. I did flash the ecu a couple times with different tunes as well over the past 3 months and haven't had any engine performance issues. Well about 4 days ago i was losing spark or fuel on the highway at a constant rpm and sometimes during acceleration. the engine would miss a beat for like a quarter second make the whole bike drag. I thought maybe the PC5 was still screwing the ride up. so 2 days ago i removed the PC5 and the autotune oxy sensor. I installed the stock sensor and plugged it back in the stock connector. the first day it had no issues during about 5 miles then last night while riding the bike it got back to sputtering lightly and then became more constant. Let me remind i still have the ECU Flashed to a more appropriate tune for the accessories k&n stock box airfilter and tor exhaust. I haven't looked at the ecu information yet but i will tonight. I wondering if the stock oxysensor is trimming AFR on the flashed ecu mapping or could this be a completely diff issue. I hear about ignition problems but the **** thing is a 2011 still a baby. Any input on the issue would be greatly appreciated because im not worried about making it a hotrod or anything i just want a dependability now.
